The map

Located east of Lyon, in the heart of the lower Bugey and on the banks of the Rhône, Saint Vulbas welcomes you in a green setting, which was once the seat of an important Gallo-Roman settlement.
With the label “Quatre fleurs” (Four flowers), Saint Vulbas will take you to the heart of nature and paths, for beautiful walks that will delight young and old alike.

If you feel like it, you can then extend your trip on the territory of the Community of Communes of the Plaine de l’Ain, which enjoys recognized heritage sites (Medieval City of Pérouges), admirable natural sites (Cascade de Charabotte) and an undeniable cultural offer (Ambronay Baroque Music Festival, Spring Festival of Pérouges…).

By its geographical situation, it will make you discover varied landscapes extending between the foothills of Bugey, the ponds of the Dombes to the banks of the Rhône and the river Ain and will reveal a range of emotions as singular as varied, spread over its 53 communes.
